During an interview with Paris MatchSylvie Vartan explained that she had to make many choices in her career, but also in his private life. She confides that she has never abandoned her children: “They have always been my priority. […] When we decide to have children, we must raise them as best as possible, to love them and accompany them“.

While children his age were going on vacation, I was going on tour with his father“she declares. The singer explains that fortunately, she could count on her mother to watch over her son, David Hallyday.
Sylvie Vartan assures her, her family has always been his main concern. “I never sacrificed it, I feel quite light on this subject”she adds. Compromises certainly, but which will never have been to the detriment of her role as a mothervery important to her.

Sylvie Vartan had a long relationship with Johnny Hallyday before starting a new life in the United States, alongside Tony Scotti, her current husband. “I was very sad to leave twenty years of life together with Johnny, but I had to continue alone. It was my life”she confides.
The former partner of Taulier says she is happy to have been able to bring Tony Scotti into her life and that of her son. According to her, he was always there for his son : “He loved him, protected him, and gave him confidence”. David Hallyday was thus able to grow up in a healthy environment, with loving parents.
