For Apple, announcements relating to their new high-end smartphones tend to happen at the end of autumn, beginning of winter. For Samsung, the big unboxing takes place in January. The Korean manufacturer did not deviate from tradition this year by unveiling, last Wednesday, its new S25 models (which succeed the S24 generation).

We discovered, thus and mainly, the existence of three models which will be offered in Switzerland from February 3: the S25 Ultra, the S25+ and the S25. Only the latter is below the symbolic bar of 1000 francs (849 francs) while the other two explode, the “Plus” at 1049 francs (indicative price) and the “Ultra” at 1299 francs. This is a scale roughly close to the previous generation.

The first feedback shows models that mark an evolution more than a revolution. This means that this generation benefits from slight technical and cosmetic improvements and that, probably, S24 owners will not necessarily find strong arguments to convince themselves of the need to upgrade to the S25.
