Logitech announced the Rally Board 65, an all-in-one portable video conferencing solution that combines intelligent audio and video features with a 65-inch touchscreen. The Rally Board 65 is simple enough to carry on a cart to satellite offices, but sophisticated enough to integrate a suite of AI-powered features, as well as occupancy and environmental sensing into rooms traditional meetings. Businesses face this dilemma every day: They want to provide modern video conferencing tools for their hybrid workloads, but IT teams are struggling with increasing workloads as their technology environments become more complicated. The powerful all-in-one video conferencing solution can be up and running in minutes in Android, PC or BYOD mode, whether teams are using Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.
Simply roll the Rally Board 65 on a cart in an open space and rotate it 180 degrees to aim the camera at eye level, or set it up in a meeting room with the camera above or below the screen, all with very little computer assistance. In addition to its razor-sharp 4K video, the Rally Board 65 features the AI-powered RightSight 2 and RightSound 2 audio-visual technologies that have become the hallmark of Logitech video bars. To further refine the experience, Camera Zone limits visual framing and Mic Zone minimizes audio pickup in a designated area.
The new Depth Blur technique obscures the surroundings, an effect similar to the background blur people are used to using on their desktops during video calls. Rally Board 65 sensors detect the presence of people, allowing IT teams to know precisely how and when employees are using video spaces. These sensors also analyze environmental data such as humidity, temperature and CO2 levels, assign a room health score and later will provide a room energy score and then provide recommendations for increasing ventilation, take breaks or reduce the number of seats in a room.
The information is transmitted to Logitech Sync, a centralized platform allowing IT teams to gain an overview of their organization, get details on a room’s specific performance, and automatically reserve and release rooms. Drawing on the principles of sustainable design, the Rally Board 65 has been designed to minimize its impact on the environment, using up to 41% life-limited plastics, low carbon aluminum carbon, recycled fabrics and FSC certified packaging. The environmental benefits go beyond physical design. The Rally Board 65’s radar system allows the device to automatically switch to a low-power state when no one is in the space – a feature that can significantly reduce the energy consumption of customers’ commercial buildings.
