A new wave from Casio has shed some light on upcoming models, but these aren’t the typical G-Shock or Baby-G line models we usually cover. This time, it is the Edifice and Oceanus ranges which are highlighted. According to the leaks, two Edifice ECB-S100D series watches and two Oceanus models, OCW-T6000B-1A and OCW-S7000-1A2, are expected to appear soon.

Série ECB-S100 d’Edifice

Edifice’s ECB-S100 series includes two models, ECB-S100D-2A and ECB-S100D-8A, both priced at £169 (~$208.5). These watches are solar powered, water resistant to 100 meters, feature Bluetooth connectivity and a super illuminator for better visibility in low light conditions. The design is slim, measuring 48.1mm × 43mm × 9.6mm, with a textured dial and an analog-digital layout. The models have alarms and world time, but they do not have a second hand.

Ocean OCW-T6000B-1A and OCW-S7000-1A2

The Oceanus range includes two titanium timepieces, which offer a more premium design and high-quality materials, normally associated with the series. The OCW-T6000B-1A retails for ¥173,800 (~$1,315) and features a sporty black design. The OCW-S7000-1A2, also known as the Manta model, features a black dial and is priced at ¥198,000 (~$1,500). Both watches feature a sapphire crystal, a radio-controlled multi-band 6 timekeeping system, and a solar-powered movement.

Looking closer at the watches, the ECB-S100 models have a polished metallic finish with crisp hour markers, while the Oceanus watches have a more intricate dial with wave patterns in the Manta edition, clearly reflecting a marine theme.
