Larger than Apple Watch Ultra

The Xiaomi Redmi Watch 5 first of all presents a rather elegant look which frankly resembles that of the Apple Watch with its square format, its rounded borders and its rotating crown. It’s no longer surprising to see this type of design on the market, as it works. And despite the very low price, the appearance of the Redmi Watch 5 does not cheapand that’s reassuring. Good point also for its robustness: the connected watch is 5 ATM certified, which means that it is waterproof up to 50 meters deep, to the delight of swimming enthusiasts.

But where the Redmi Watch 5 will really differentiate itself is on its screen, which includes a 2.07-inch panel. Yes, this screen is much larger than that of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 with its 1.92 inches. The large Apple Watch Series 10 (46mm) doesn’t even do better with its 1.98-inch screen. Finally, the Redmi Watch 5 contains a speaker and a microphone allowing you to make Bluetooth calls without holding your smartphone; Wind noise reduction is even offered to make calls clearer. And in terms of endurance, the brand promises up to 24 days of battery life in normal mode, 12 days with display Always-on and 36 days with power saving mode.
