Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata (PS5) review – A crossover for fans
Seven months after the incredible launch of Stellar Blade, we are talking about EVE again thanks to the launch of the latest DLC. From the beginning, the title of Shift Up had been repeatedly compared to the NieR series and, in particular, EVE to the beautiful protagonist of NieR Automata, 2B. After even receiving a blessing from Yoko Taro, why not create a collaboration between the two video games? Stellar Blade x NieR Automata will not have a standalone story, new menu, etc., but will already be fully integrated into the main EVE adventure. Additional content will appear upon arrival in the Wastelands, in the form of Emil, a key character in NieR. Stopping its unstoppable run, it will become a store ready to sell new cosmetic items that will make EVE, Lily and Adam look like Yoko Taro’s title characters. The currency Emil uses will be Stellar Tears, the fusion of NieR’s beloved Stellar Blade cans and Lunar Tears. These items will fortunately only be scattered between the Wastelands and the Vast Desert. By collecting them, you can unlock fantastic new outfits for EVE and company. The DLC includes a total of four new outfits for EVE (2B, A2, YoRHa Uniform 1 and Unofficial Formal Uniform), two outfits for Adam (Emil’s Head and Pod 045 for the drone) and one outfit for Lily (the YoRHa No. 9 Model S). For EVE these outfits will be interchangeable at will and a real beauty for all NieR Automata fans. Additionally, each of them will include the “self-destruct” version. Photo mode is also part of the latest update, which will allow you to pose the characters and have even more fun with the game environment. Attention: with the arrival of certain NieR Automata features in Stellar Blade, EVE will react in a very particular way if you try to peek under her skirt!
