Found in a house, bought for 24 million by the Louvre… The fabulous destiny of a Cimabue painting

This great Italian painter of the 13th century, precursor of the Renaissance, returned to the forefront thanks to a painting discovered in the Oise in 2019, purchased by the Louvre which has been exhibiting it in majesty since this Wednesday.
