Vendée stands out with one particularity: it is the department where the number of mini-internships is the greatest. In total, more than 2,880 internship agreements were signed in 2024. This process allows you to discover a profession for a day or a few days (5 days maximum) by immersion in a company, during the school holiday period. “These figures show an increase of 16% compared to last year, when we were second behind the Rhône department. We aim to exceed 3,000 mini-internships in 2025”, aims Arnaud Ringeard, boss of the transporter Fast, and president of the CCI of Vendée. “For me, this is a system that says a lot about our territory. This system involves the world of education, the economic sector and businesses,” says the president.
