Orpi: after the crisis, a strong and transformed cooperative

After two difficult years in the market and a major digital transformation, the Orpi cooperative, chaired by Guillaume Martinaud, is cultivating its independence and the success of its associates.

“It’s been a long time since our network went through such a difficult crisis,” recognizes Guillaume Martinaud.

“And yet, we have proven that at Orpi, the cooperative spirit is a reality. To support and support the real estate agencies in our networkour management council (1) has implemented an arsenal of measures in “emergency medicine” mode. We strengthened our training, we sent the Orpi teams to the field in the form of a “roadshow” for several months, co-development workshops were created to encourage internal mutual assistance, and we decided to devote the budget usually dedicated to our conventions at the creation of an aid program for agencies in difficulty. Today, as we emerge from the tunnel, 60% of Orpi agencies which were in difficulty are doing better.”

Deploy the mobility and commercial strength of professionals

President of the Cooperative since 2022 and agency director for around thirty years, Guillaume Martinaud is keen to stay connected to realities on the ground and close to his colleagues to better defend their interests.

“I was elected on the proposal of a profound transformation project, particularly digital. My stated objective was — and still is — tobring more mobility to real estate agentsthanks to the introduction of new methods and tools into their daily lives,” he explains. “These changes were made not without certain difficulties because changing habits is never easy, but we are happy to see that the network has now understood and taken charge of all the new tools.” Orpi has in fact equipped itself with software designed to deploy the immediacy and commercial strength of network associates and advisors. The new generation Sweepbright platform, for example, centralizes the management of administrative tasks, property portfolios and contacts on a single tool accessible via smartphone.

Eager to cultivate the independence of the Cooperative, Guillaume Martinaud is also delighted with the commissioning of a new data warehouse 100% owned by Orpi. “We now keep all our data in-house instead of entrusting it to service providers. This ensures us a large degree of independence, rare enough for this to be underlined.”

So many assets that the Cooperative, during recruitment periods, can put forward to attract advisors and entrepreneurs looking for mobility and a cooperative spirit that “changes real estate”. “With us, the voice of each partner counts, regardless of their turnover” concludes Guillaume Martinaud.

(1) The Orpi management board is made up of Guillaume Martinaud, Corinne Berec, Yannick Signes, Yann Sayaret, Christophe Caux, Jean-Luc Lacroix, Cyril Imsissen, Damien Orts et Philippe Blanchard.
