Ingrandes-Le Fresne-sur-Loire. “Make society more attractive to young people”

The general meeting of the Cercle Saint-Joseph La Grande Cour d’Ingrandes-le-Fresne-sur- took place on Saturday January 4. The moral and orientation report was presented by Laurent Thibault, vice-president and Laure Bondue, secretary.

This year, the workforce is increasing by 18 new members, a third of whom are under 50 years old. At the start of 2025, we have 147 members, half of whom regularly attend the Circle. detailed the vice-president. We managed to organize the Youth Challenge qualifiers. This year we are offering a challenge over two weekends with a member and a minor. Before this challenge called “Roulez Jeunesse”, training sessions can be organized.

Another novelty that we will try in order to make the company more attractive for the youngest is the installation of a darts game. This should not disturb card players who often leave their table at 5 p.m., while young people are likely to come after work.

We must also take care of the financial health of our society as well as the renewal of its members and the variety of its activities.

Presented by treasurer Thierry Piou, the financial report presents a positive situation as of December 31, 2024, with a result of €24,456.

We plan to take our place in the life of the municipality by actively participating in various events: Heritage Days, association forum or the Christmas market which could bring us a little more notoriety assured the vice-president.
