Generally, an increase in battery capacity implies an increase in its dimensions. However, these smartphone manufacturers would rely on new chemical compositions that allow more energy to be stored, while keeping the same dimensions or even reducing them. In other words, smartphones using these batteries would have completely reasonable dimensions.

Apple would develop its own batteries
For the moment, this information should be considered with caution, since it does not come from an official source. However, it should be noted that, regarding Apple, previous rumors have already mentioned the development of a new composition for the batteries, internally.
In 2023, the Korean site ETNews wrote that Apple would develop a new type of battery that has never been marketed worldwide. At the time, the site indicated that this battery could land in 2025.
