Two establishments for seniors in Laval stood out during the 2024 Signature Awards organized by Bonjour Résidences.
Villa Ste-Rose won an award for its technological innovation laboratory which allowed it to develop cutting-edge solutions to improve the lives of its residents.
Products tested to date include artificial intelligence-based fall detection technology that alerts residence employees, as well as a conversational 3D avatar that chats with residents with neurocognitive disorders and provides report to the clinical team.
“In a few years, we will no longer be able to operate our health establishments in the same way as we do today, due to a lack of employees and the demographic tsunami we are facing,” said the co-owner of Villa Ste-Rose Alexandre. Bélanger at Courier Laval. There will be a significant number of seniors that we will have to supervise, care for and take care of. Technology will have an inevitable role to play and the laboratory allows us to start thinking.”
For his part, the CHSLD of Laval won the prize in the Best CHSLD category. Bonjour Résidences explains this choice by “personalized care and exemplary communication with families” within the Laval establishment.
“This recognition demonstrates our constant commitment to excellence in care and continuous improvement of the customer experience,” said Jean Nadon, co-owner of Groupe Santé Nadon, in a press release. Our success is based on the exceptional dedication of our staff and our desire to maintain fluid and transparent communication with families.”
In total, 10 seniors’ residences in Quebec were recognized during the gala presented by Bonjour Résidences. (N.P.)
