This year we've released a slew of gaming handhelds on RG406H: Anbernic releases new Retroid Pocket 5 rival for under $160, from powerful systems capable of displaying triple-A games, like the Asus ROG Ally Some systems are basically emulable in terms of performance, but the display or operation can be problematic, which is especially true for the various Nintendo DS handhelds, which have two screens.
The MagicX Touch Zero 40, recently shown in a video, could be an ideal platform to emulate the Nintendo 2DS
. Like the Nintendo 2DS, the MagicX Touch Zero 40 has a single screen, but it is very long. This allows both screens of the Nintendo DS to be viewed equally and without issue. The video features various Nintendo DS titles, which run at appropriate speeds.
The handheld appears to be equipped with the input devices required by the Nintendo DS, but not only that. An analog stick is visible below the directional pad, and there are four action buttons, shoulder buttons, and buttons for menus. Information on pricing or availability is still awaited, but the price is unlikely to be very high.
