Crossed perspectives of Malagasy scientists engaged in the study of the extraordinary diversity of the ecosystems of the Red Island. How can we preserve these dry, humid or mountainous forests and these mangroves, seen from the sky by satellite, in the field, or from the ocean at the whale festival? the ecologist Samuel Razanaka, researcher at the National Center for Environmental Research (CNRE) in Antananarivo, member of the Malagasy Academy of Sciences. Plant biologist specializing in forests and mangroves, he seeks to reconcile knowledge, preservation and development in conjunction with the Malagasy populations.
