Leaks from different sources have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will launch on January 22. Now, reliable leaker Evan Blass has just confirmed that date by sharing the alleged launch poster for the upcoming Unpacked event.
The interesting aspect of this leaked poster is that it features the iconic AI star symbol, and some are speculating that Samsung is likely referring to the return of Bixby with this poster. To enlighten you, Bixby is Samsung’s artificial intelligence assistant, which was not really popular after its launch.
A recent report from Ice Universe, another legendary leaker, suggested that the Galaxy S25 series’ biggest selling point would be the return of Bixby. Of course, it won’t be the same AI assistant as before, as Samsung is expected to introduce a new, significantly improved version.
That said, aside from the launch poster, Evan Blass also shared new renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Plus. Photos of the former show the same rounded corners suggested by previous leaks, which would be a major design change from the S24 Ultra (256GB currently, $999.99 at Amazon).
In addition to making the phone more comfortable to hold, these rounded corners would make One UI 7’s animations feel more natural on the phone. These renders also show thinner edges, which previous reports had already suggested. Interestingly, a recent report claims that there will be four phones at the upcoming Unpacked event, but it’s unclear if the fourth phone in the Galaxy S25 series will be the rumored S25 Slim.
