The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, expected for an official presentation on January 22, 2025, promises to set new records in terms of thinness of screen borders. For several years, manufacturers have been competing in ingenuity to reduce the size of the edges surrounding the display of their smartphones, but Samsung seems ready to get ahead of the competition with this Ultra model.
With even thinner bezels than the competition, the S25 Ultra could become the high-end smartphone with the purest design on the market. Such a level of finish would give the device an unrivaled premium look, while maximizing display space, thus providing an optimal visual experience.

A screen that’s a little more immersive around the edges
The borders around the screen are an important aesthetic criterion for many users. They influence not only the general design of the smartphone, but also its ergonomics and comfort of use. According to tipster Ice Universe, the edges of the S25 Ultra would surpass those of prestigious models, such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max or the Xiaomi 15, whose edges measure approximately 1.15 mm and 1.38 mm respectively.
With a 6.9-inch screen, which should benefit from the same treatment as the S24 Ultra released a year earlier, Samsung’s new ultra high-end terminal would offer a more immersive display than its predecessor. Although this extreme finesse is mainly a marketing argument for some, it reflects Samsung’s technological excellence and should appeal to aficionados of the brand.
Power and AI at every level
In addition to its less angular design, the S25 Ultra would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm’s brand new SoC with increased capabilities, whether for multitasking, gaming or photo and video capture. This latest generation processor is accompanied by battery optimization, an ultra-smooth display and should improve the management of the South Korean firm’s Galaxy AI functions.
Available, according to rumors, in four different colors (blue, black, white, gray), the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be presented in the coming days and we will not fail to follow its presentation and test the device in our labs.
