The decommissioning of a 1,618 m2 portion of the road on rue Olivier-Pellan, which joins rue de Prat-Meur, was voted on (five opposing opinions), following the approval of a second public inquiry on February 19, 2024. The first public inquiry received an unfavorable opinion in September 2022. This route can now be decommissioned and then sold. “The interest in selling this portion of the road lies in its dangerousness at the intersection with rue de Prat-Meur and its configuration, with a succession of right angles. This transfer will make it possible to create a land entity for the E.Leclerc center, bringing its influence closer to its property on the other side of the street, without bringing the supermarket closer to homes,” underlined Marguerite Lamour. Another portion of road of 67 m2, square de l’Abéric, has been declassified.
Educational land area
A favorable opinion was unanimously given on the establishment of an educational land area by CE2, CM1 and CM2 students from the Kéribin school, within the Moulin-Neuf park. Students will be able to study and discover the fauna and flora in a convenient location at the foot of their school. They have already contacted the Friends of Moulin-Neuf, who maintain the park all year round and who will be able to support them in their efforts.
Network erasure
Two network erasure agreements, rue de la Gare tranche 2 and rue de Ranterboul, agreeing on a contribution of €449,625 by the Sdef (Finistère Departmental Energy and Equipment Union) and €211,375 by the commune, were voted on.
Protection of local elected officials
The motion relating to the protection of local elected officials in the exercise of their functions was approved. Three elected officials from the Participatory List abstained, creating general astonishment in the assembly. “Your abstention surprises me,” declared the mayor, Marguerite Lamour.
