Unveiled a little over a year ago during the Game Awards 2023, Exodus recently got a big spotlight.
Exodus reveals its gameplay
If the title was entitled to a dedicated episode in Amazon’s Secret Level TV series, it is also and above all a big gameplay trailer which has just been broadcast, and the least we can say is is that it really makes you want it.
Several phases are revealed during this short trailer including combat, exploration and even cut-scenes with the different choices available to the player. Everything seems very dynamic and diverse, while the staging also seems neat.

Obviously, the game looks a lot like Mass Effect and for good reason, it is developed by the Archetype studio, made up in particular of former developers from BioWare but also from 343 Industries, Electronic Arts and Naughty Dog.
With Exodus, the studio’s ambition is to “create the new generation of narrative role-playing games” and “to offer a next gen experience to RPG fans”, and the trailer revealed recently sets the tone.
The game currently doesn’t have a release date, but is planned for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and we can’t wait to see more. With a new Mass Effect also in the works, it goes without saying that Sci-fi RPG fans will be in heaven for years to come.
