With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 fast approaching, the leaks are quick to arrive. Earlier, we got a glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Plus in the flesh. Before that, the Galaxy S25 Ultra appeared twice. Today, famous leaker Evan Blass revealed the exact date when Samsung might unveil its flagship smartphones.
Promotional material from what appears to be Samsung’s Italian website indicates that Galaxy Unpacked will take place on January 22. It sits next to an X-shaped logo that seems quite prominent. Some speculate that the X could stand for Bixby, which is rumored to make a return with the Galaxy S25 series.
Ice Universe, on the other hand, claims that it heralds the arrival of the fourth Galaxy S25 phone, previously referred to as the Galaxy S25 Slim. After all, the “X” looks like four phones placed at right angles. But if previous reports the Galaxy S25 Slim is not expected before April 2025.
No matter how many Galaxy S25 variants Samsung decides to introduce, they will arrive nine days earlier than their last-generation counterparts, which were revealed on January 31. Additionally, Blass has a great reputation when it comes to leaks, and a reveal on January 22 matches Samsung’s release schedule over the past few cycles.
As of now, there is no certainty about the casting surrounding the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. It’s way too early for new earbuds and watches. Arrow Lake-powered Galaxy Book laptops could be shown off sooner at CES 2025. So what we’re left with is Samsung’s AR Glasses and maybe some AI-based features for previous generation Galaxy phones/tablets .
