Reliable whistleblower Digital Chat Station has shared details about the new flagship OPPO Find X8 Ultra smartphone.
Here’s what we know
According to the insider, the device will feature a 6.8-inch curved display with 2K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner integrated into the display. The smartphone will get IP68 and IP69 certification to ensure water and dust resistance. The 6000mAh battery will support 80W fast charging. Although it wasn’t mentioned, the device is also expected to support 50W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
The main camera is said to include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX882 sensor, and two periscopic telephoto lenses. One will feature a Sony LYT-701 sensor with a focal length of 75mm and the other will feature a Sony IMX882 sensor with a focal length of 150mm.
The smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is expected to be one of the most powerful camera phones on the market, thanks to the use of advanced sensors and Hasselblad technology. The device might not be released in global markets, although the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro models have received global releases.
