A few months ago, we announced that Smartclip, the adtech entity of the RTL group, was strengthening its presence in France to make its suite of products available to broadcasters. Today, M6 Publicité announces a strategic technological partnership with Smartclip. “The agency’s advertising stack will gradually integrate Smartclip technology, thus supporting the M6 Group’s ambition to triple its revenues from streaming to reach 200 million euros by 2028,” said the press release.
According to him, the technology has the advantage of being “unified for streaming and Addressable TV (Segmented TV and L-Banner), ensuring smooth distribution of advertising content in various environments”. Its capabilities will drive “open programmatic buying and inventory collaborations in domestic and international markets, while optimizing operational efficiencies.” The integrated Smartclip suite will also include cross-media measurement and performance monitoring reports, powered “in real time” using the Realytics user interface (a company acquired by Smartclip in 2022).
Like the recent technological partnership between Bedrock (a French technology company specializing in streaming and jointly owned by RTL Group and the M6 Group) and RTL+ (RTL Group streaming service), this alliance is part of the strategic plan of RTL Group, which aims to encourage collaboration between its subsidiaries and stimulate growth in Europe, underlines the press release.
