In Vierzon, the company Lib & Lou, which offers rental games, is growing. This year, it goes further by launching an alternative Christmas gift. We asked Morgane Longo, its founder, to present three ideas for educational games for Christmas.
1. Picasso Tiles (ages three to six)
This game, created in the United States, exists in different box sizes. One of them includes 70 magnetic pieces, which fit together easily. According to the game’s creator, kids can explore physics, engineering, and geometry while having fun. “These are magnetic construction games that allow you to express creativity and manipulate,” adds Morgane Longo. From 36.42 euros or rental from Lib & Lou.
2. Lunii (from three to eight years old)
The Story Factory is an audio storyteller for children aged three to eight. It is designed by a French company. The children choose the elements of their story (hero, place, companion, object) and listen to their creation. “It’s a box of stories,” explains the founder of Lib & Lou. It is an object that allows children to have moments of calm, to keep them occupied in the car. And it’s an alternative to screens. » From 64.90 euros or rental from Lib & Lou.
3. Animal figures (from three to ten years old)
The German company Schleich has created a whole series of toys on the theme of the equestrian center (in the photo, the washing area with horse box, released in 2024). Morgane Longo explains the benefit of this toy: “These are imaginative games where the child creates a story that will allow him to think about solving problems, to better understand the world. » From 39.99 euros or rental from Lib & Lou.
