The newsagent on rue du Fort-Bloqué in Plœmeur (Morbihan) will reopen its doors from Wednesday December 18, 2024, after almost a year of closure.
Christèle Bruneau and Marine Joly, mother and daughter, have joined forces to take over this business, under the name Le Triskell in a nod to their beloved Brittany. “I already ran a newsagent in Lanester, the Alpha Presse with my husband, for eight years, explains the new manager. We sold it last July. My husband is preparing to retire in a few months. So, with my daughter, we wanted to experience a new adventure together. Why Ploemeur? We immediately loved this town with its small village spirit. Everything is done on foot and the commercial fabric is rich. »
“Our four-legged friends are also welcome”
The establishment will offer a classic activity of tobacco, newspapers, cards, lotto, scratch games and PMU, but has also diversified into local payment services, electronic cigarettes and CBD. “We also offer a small snack and coffee to take away, as well as gifts and souvenirs. We also plan to make a parcel drop-off. We have redesigned the place to make it pleasant and warm, notably with wooden furniture. Small specificity: our four-legged friends are also welcome. Moreover, we offer them a welcome kibble, each time they pass, adapted to their size,” concludes the tobacconist with humor.
