Intel had planned to unveil its two new Arc series graphics cards with great fanfare at the end of the year. But a leak has just slightly spoiled the surprise.
If you’ve been anxiously waiting to see what Intel has in stock to take on AMD and Nvidia, you don’t even have to wait until tomorrow. The specialized site Videocardz managed to get their hands on the technical characteristics of the B570 card. Information then cross-checked by the famous journalist Roland Quandt, who published all the promotional images linked to the accessory.
As a reminder, it seems that, for its end-of-year high mass, Intel is preparing the release of two new graphics cards in its “Arc” range. Both under “Battlemage” architecture, the cards would rather target the entry-level segment with characteristics optimized for AI and calculation more than for gaming. The B580, more expensive of the two, was already partially revealed, and now it’s the turn of the B570 to prematurely show what it has in its belly.
18 Xe2 cores
According to the promotional material collected by Roland Quandt, the card would come equipped with 18 Xe2 cores with a frequency of 2.6 GHz and 10 GB of GDDR6 VRAM (in 19 Gbps) mounted on a 160 bit target. This will result in a card with a bandwidth slightly lower than that of its big sister, by 16.7% to be precise. Finally, the B570, like the B580, will inherit a PCI Express 4.0 x8 interface. This choice, less ambitious than that of PCIe 5.0, is undoubtedly explained by a desire to keep costs contained.
For the rest of the whispered characteristics, we face relatively few surprises. Ray-Tracing compatibility, three DisplayPort 2.1 connectors, one HDMI 2.1, support for definitions up to 7680 x 4320 px, two fans and, of course, LEDs here and there for “make your graphics card even more beautiful»Promises the promotional flyer.
No price yet
With this latest leak, the last thing we still don’t know about this Intel Arc B570 is, quite simply, its price. Her big sister was allowed to make small indiscretions on the subject and should cost around $250. We can therefore imagine that this B570 will sell for less than that.
