If the device itself remains the main point of daily interaction for users of connected watches, manufacturers must not forget the companion application, available directly on smartphones.

As reported by the site Sam MobileSamsung seems to have indeed reworked its mobile application allowing you to control Galaxy Watches. The specialized site indicates that the Galaxy Wearable application, also used to control the brand’s headphones, now benefits from a new interface, clearer than the previous one.

A subtle, but clearer redesign of Galaxy Wearable

Concretely, Galaxy Wearable will allow easier access to the various Samsung devices connected to the smartphone, whether it is a Galaxy Watch, the Galaxy Ring or Galaxy Buds headphones.

On the page allowing you to control a particular device, the device icon will be displayed larger, while the different menus have been revised. For connected watches, the new version of Galaxy Wearable will notably highlight the dials, the applications screen, the tiles and the quick settings on a single line.

As a reminder, Samsung’s Galaxy Wearable application will mainly be used to configure the Samsung watch, ring or headphones. On the other hand, to recover health or training data retrieved by the Galaxy Watch or the Galaxy Ring, Samsung offers another application: Samsung Health.

The Galaxy Wearable update is currently rolling out. It should be offered to all users in the coming weeks.
