Established for around fifteen years in the Pont Rouge area in , the Royal Kids children's play park will change its name after a necessary facelift and the creation of a complementary concept. “Climby Island” is expected at the end of January 2025.

Like all leisure structures welcoming the world, particularly a young audience, the Royal Kids children's play park, installed in the Pont Rouge area since 2010, has borne the brunt of the Covid-19 pandemic with a year of forced closure… And significant rents that had to be paid, despite a total loss of activity. However, Sony Rameaux and his wife Flora have not given up, always with this desire to want. “We had this idea of ​​renovating the park for a few years already, but Covid put a stop to all that…”he says. At his side, his wife Flora talks about“a park which was aging, to which something complementary had to be added”. Along the way, the couple decided to part ways with the Royal Kids franchise that had been theirs until now, to take back the reins of an activity that they wanted to develop in order to become masters of it. of the game.

The brand will now be called “Climby Island”, where the novelty will be that of a fun climbing activity in a completely new setting… “We've been on this project for several years, everything has been launched at the manufacturing level. We've always wanted to do climbing. We're here more on a fun and non-sporting approach. We had to bring something something that didn’t exist!”underline Sony and Flora Rameaux. Until the end of this year 2024, the Pont Rouge children's play park will remain the same in terms of activities offered, over an area of ​​1,200 m2. Then there will be this period from January 9 to 19, 2025 when the site will be closed to the public for a reorganization of the premises. “The goal is to have a new look”s’amuse Sony.

But it remains to install the new climbing area which will take place over 200 m2 dedicated. “We are here on a reinvented concept of climbing, accessible to all with a self-insurance system via pulleys. Our objective is to make climbing more playful and more fun, with an activity that can be done from age 5 years old Parents can also participate. In parallel with this new climbing activity to come, there will still be the initial children's play park with its different modules: trampoline, toboggan run, ball pool, spider tower, etc. There will also be an arcade games room with new games. Without forgetting the turnkey birthday packages and snacks for children. There is also the possibility of eating on site with a snacking area and soon salads. “We try to convey good values. We like contact with people, selling dreams to children”add Sony and Flora. Both have “can't wait for everything to be finalized”. Just like the team of animators with whom the couple works, and without whom nothing could exist.

Open during school hours on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., as well as Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For school holidays and public holidays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
