After the releases of Call of Duty and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Xbox is preparing to release its last big game of the year with Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle. While the game's release is scheduled for December 9, 2024, the first details on post-release content have just arrived.

A narrative expansion integrated into the base game campaign

When Xbox revealed the different editions of the game, several details were confirmed such as the arrival of an expansion called The Order of Giants. This will be available in the Collector's Edition of Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle, the Premium Edition as well as in the upgrade if you play the game via Game Pass.

During a recent interview with MinnMax, creative director Axel Torvenius gave some details on what we can expect from this expansion, calling it a “unique narrative experience” that will be seamlessly integrated into the game's campaign. base.

For the moment, MachineGames has not yet given a release date or other details on this first expansion. We also don't know how long it will last, but we imagine that we will have to wait for the title's release to learn more next year.

As a reminder, we also know that Indiana Jones will have more cutscenes than Wolfenstein II, knowing that the last major production from MachineGames has a little more than 2 hours of cutscenes, for a total lifespan of around 11 hours just to come complete the story without completing the secondary content.

Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle will be available exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9 and will integrate Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass directly on the day of its release.
