After its launch in Europe, the Honor 200 series is expected to debut in India soon. According to a teaser released by https://twitter.com/ExploreHONOR/status/1807991654051401993The launch will take place “soon.” An attached link leads to a landing page on Amazon, indicating that it will be Honor’s e-commerce platform of choice. Like previous Honor 200 marketing materials, the theme centers around the phone’s camera prowess.
Additionally, Honor is also promoting the Honor 200 as a phone with minimal bloatware and ads, which has been a problem in the market for quite some time, especially in the mid-range segment. However, it is unclear if Honor plans to launch all three SKUs (Honor 200, Honor 200 Pro, Honor 200 Lite) in India. The last generation Honor 100 was never launched in India. Before that, only the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Lite models were available for purchase.
So it’s safe to assume that the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Lite will be the only devices of the bunch to launch in India. Again, the main difference between the Honor 200 Pro and the Honor 200 is limited to the SoC (Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Pro vs Snapdragon 7 Gen 3), an additional 2MP sensor on the front, and a slightly larger display.
