“Our BIPV products have been developed to meet the requirements of new European regulations and the specific needs of local markets,” said Sébastien Bordonné, Head Europe BIPV at GoodWe. “The positive response from visitors at Intersolar confirms that we are on the right track.”

Indeed, GoodWe’s three products were particularly appreciated for their ability to address critical issues in the photovoltaic sector. The Galaxy panel firstly impressed visitors with its ultra-lightweight design, allowing for quick installation without any roof penetration. Its frameless structure offers easy integration while ensuring optimal energy performance. Unlike competing flexible panels that do not have glass on top, the Galaxy panel is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions such as heavy snow and hail, thus avoiding the problems of micro-cracks and hot spots after a few years of installation. In addition, its framelessness prevents dirt and dust from accumulating, ensuring high efficiency over a 30-year period, which has been well accepted by customers.

Next to it, the Polaris solar carport attracted attention with its waterproof and weatherproof structure, designed for quick and reliable installation. The display of a full-size solar carport, including the Polaris panel and its structure, was a highlight of the GoodWe booth, generating keen interest and lively discussions.

The Suncake panel, meanwhile, was praised for its flexibility and adaptability. This plug and play system is perfect for any outdoor space, with its anti-reflective glass and adjustable angles, making it easy to integrate into various environments. These products not only met the expectations of visitors, but also demonstrated their ability to solve crucial issues in the photovoltaic sector.

The event was also marked by the signing of a major distribution partnership with Energy Depot, a Swiss company specializing in the integration and distribution of photovoltaic storage systems. This strategic partnership positions Energy Depot as the main distributor of GoodWe’s BIPV products in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Energy Depot will focus on promoting and marketing GoodWe’s BIPV products suitable for various applications combining photovoltaics.

This year, Intersolar set a new benchmark with over 3,000 exhibitors from 55 countries and around 110,000 visitors from 176 countries, making this edition the largest and most international event in Intersolar’s history. GoodWe is proud to have participated in this exceptional event and to contribute to the innovation and development of the photovoltaic sector.
