It would be hard to fault the Sony WH-1000XM4 for its extreme similarity to the WH-1000XM3. The elder was already extremely close to a certain form of perfection, and with a few small functional adjustments, often minimal, sometimes notable (the multipoint Bluetooth connection, finally!), the younger naturally takes over as the benchmark for wireless noise-canceling headphones. The only precaution to take before purchasing: make sure that you will not be bothered by a sound that is certainly remarkably precise and musical, but with a very pronounced bass bias.

An alternative
The spearhead of JBL’s range of nomadic headphones, the Tour One M2 had to be exemplary. A successful bet since the headphones manage to rise to the level of the best on the market.
