The success of Pokémon Pocket TCG is colossal around the world! Since the release of the mobile application, millions of trainers have come together to open tens of thousands of booster packs in order to complete their collection. Players can also take part in battles. Currently, a special event is taking place in the versus section of the production and fight fans can progress through various leagues. This functionality could soon be further developed. On social networks, leaks of this next game mode have leaked!

Versus mode soon to be even more competitive on Pokémon Pocket TCG

Fight fans will undoubtedly be delighted to discover these leaks. On the official Pokémon Pocket page of the social network Reddit, a player shared a leak concerning a game mode planned for an upcoming update. Like the Genetic Power Badge event, trainers will supposedly have to compete against other users in the mobile game's online versus mode.

However, to obtain the new medals offered, Players will need to achieve a series of victories to advance to the next level. To progress and obtain the gold medal, they will need to obtain a total of five consecutive victories. An incredibly difficult challenge, which many users, even with elaborate decks, have difficulty achieving!

Too difficult a challenge?

According to community research, even the deck with the highest win rate (Pikachu EX + Zapdos EX) only has a 55% win rate. Therefore, if the best decks are all in the 50% win rate category, non-meta decks will really struggle with this event which may be very complicated to complete.

In comments to the Reddit post, some users say: “I've already resigned myself to not getting it. I think I'm a player who wins 1 time in 3 games, there's no chance I'll get 3 on the spin let alone 5”. Others were also keen to point out how ridiculous this challenge is, especially when aimed at newcomers to the app. After all, beginning players should, supposedly, always go through easier first steps in order to reach the heights of Versus mode.

It is important to point out that these are only leaks and that nothing has yet been officially confirmed by the Pokémon Pocket TCG teams!
