If there is one professional category that remains at the cutting edge of technology, it is that of computer hackers. And especially those who are constantly developing new scams. This is the case for SMS scam attempts, which we all experience. Recently, scammers have succeeded in circumventing the filters put in place by telecom operators. Result: we are facing new waves of fraudulent messages.
The Federal Office for Cybersecurity (OFCS) has just launched a new alert on this subject this Tuesday. Alert center for all online scam attempts, the office said it had received numerous reports concerning text messages claiming that the recipient had not paid a parking fine or a speeding ticket. So far, it's classic: the message pressures the recipient to click on the indicated link and provide personal data. This is often the case for SMS messages allegedly sent by La Poste.
