At first glance, the Galaxy Watch7 looks identical to last year’s Galaxy Watch6 (currently $234.99 on Amazon). As a result, Evan Blass’ latest leak about the upcoming smartwatch series confirms that Samsung will continue to offer premium smartwatches in 40mm and 44mm sizes. For reference, these variants will be known as the SM-L300 and SM-L310, respectively, or the SM-L305 and SM-L315 for their corresponding LTE SKUs.

Additionally, the Galaxy Watch7 series will only offer 5ATM water resistance to its predecessor. On the other hand, Samsung will market the Galaxy Watch Ultra as being resistant to 10 ATM. That being said, the Galaxy Watch7 series will match the Galaxy Watch Ultra when it comes to protecting its flat screens with sapphire glass.

It also seems that the Galaxy Watch7 series has even thinner screen edges than its Galaxy Watch6 counterparts. As seen in the images below, Samsung plans to sell this year’s Galaxy Watch smartwatches with a new set of bands that look slightly less premium than the ones it created for the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Currently, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch7 series on July 10, along with the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds3, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Galaxy Z Flip6, and Galaxy Z Fold6.
