Xiaomi launches a connected bracelet even cheaper than the previous ones

After its Smart Band 9 and Smart Band 9 Pro, Xiaomi has just presented its new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active bracelet, offered at an even more affordable price.

Clearly, Xiaomi continues to renew its range of connected bracelets. After presenting its Smart Band 9 last July, then its Smart Band 9 Pro at the end of October, Xiaomi has just lifted the veil on its new Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active.

As its name suggests, this new connected bracelet is primarily intended for people wishing to monitor their activity during exercise. To do this, it includes an optical heart rate sensor, a pulse oximeter and an accelerometer. The bracelet is also capable of recording up to 50 types of sports activities.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active also adopts a slightly more raw and angular appearance than the classic Smart Band 9, all rounded. It consists of a module equipped with a rectangular Amoled screen of 1.47 inches diagonal and a definition of 172 x 320 pixels.

The 16.5 gram module can also be easily removed from the silicone bracelet in which it is encapsulated.

A connected bracelet for less than 30 euros

In terms of autonomy, Xiaomi indicates that it has integrated a 300 mAh battery allowing, according to the manufacturer, up to 18 days of autonomy. The device is also 5 ATM waterproof and can therefore be used for diving. It also benefits from Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active is already available in . For example, it is offered on Amazon at the price of 29.99 euros, the same price as the Smart Band 8 Active at its launch. For comparison, the classic Smart Band 9 is priced at 39.99 euros.
