Windows 11 build 22635.4510 is coming, what’s new?

Microsoft continues to improve Windows 11 with the release of a new build of the OS for users registered with the Windows Insider program. This build 22635.4510, available on the beta channel, introduces various features and fixes divided into two categories: those deployed gradually and those available to all channel members.

Among the new features deployed in a targeted manner, the taskbar becomes more practical with an option allowing you to share files directly from the shortcut lists. This feature, accessible by right-clicking on a pinned application, notably improves the experience for tools like Notepad. A new on-screen keyboard layout for gamepads is introduced, continuing its rollout that began with a previous version of the beta channel.

New features and a bug fix

In terms of accessibility, Narrator, a key tool for visually impaired people, benefits from new capabilities in scanning mode. Commands like “Skip past links” and “Go to lists” make it easier to navigate complex content, whether it’s long emails, articles or documents. These features are activated via specific keyboard shortcuts, after first activating the scanning mode.

Other improvements relate to speech recognition and synthesis. Users of tools like Voice Access, Live Captions, or Voice Typing are encouraged to update their language files through the Microsoft Store. Finally, a hotfix resolves an annoying issue where a message stating “ You are offline. Widgets are not available » could appear unexpectedly.
