Palworld: the PlayStation version teased, soon the end of Xbox exclusivity? | Xbox

A huge phenomenon at the start of the year and the biggest launch of a third-party game in Xbox Game Pass, Palworld is being much more discreet, but is nevertheless preparing to come back stronger than ever. In addition to the arrival of new Pals, the Sakurajima update and even the combat arenas, the title is preparing to open up to a wider audience.

No more Xbox exclusivity, Palworld could soon arrive on PlayStation!

Pocket Pair has never ruled out bringing its successful title to Sony machines. It could be that the PlayStation versions will be made official very soon, as the Palworld community manager shared a tweet clearly suggesting the arrival of the title on PlayStation.

Palworld

I want to add more hearts, but I’m not sure what color would work…hmm…how about….

Palworld

Looks good, I think!

You will have understood, the addition of blue hearts clearly refers to PlayStation. It is therefore highly possible that in the coming weeks or months, Palworld will be playable in early access on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Remember that a few days after its launch, the title managed to bring together 2,101,867 simultaneous players, on Steam alone. At last count, Palworld has sold over 15 million copies on Steam and 10 million people have played it on Xbox, the majority of which are likely via Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.

During the heyday of Palworld, Xbox focused a lot of its communication around the phenomenon. It is likely that the green brand will no longer be able to use this temporary exclusivity to its advantage as much.

Regardless, you can enjoy the title now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
