Want a premium tablet, except in terms of price? The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is ideal in this case. Largely inspired by the classic Tab S9, it makes some concessions in order to lower the bill, but there are also promotions for that. At Darty, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE in a pack with its protective case is available for 302.57 euros instead of 549.99 euros.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is the latest mid-range touchscreen tablet to join the South Korean manufacturer’s catalog. Like the other Fan Edition devices, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE aims to be a close to high-end product while limiting its selling price, which necessarily involves some concessions. Its value for money was already interesting at launch, but with this reduction of 250 euros in this pack, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE clearly becomes a golden deal!

What to remember about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

  • A premium design and a 90 Hz IPS-LCD panel
  • The performance of an Exynos 1380 SoC
  • An 8,000 mAh battery with good autonomy

Instead of the usual 549.99 euros, this pack including the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE with its 2024 Olympic edition protective case is now available on sale at 302.57 euros at Darty with the promo code PROMO15 and this refund offer of 80 euros.

A Fan Edition with uncompromising design

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE had to undergo some concessions to make the financial effort less heavy, but it was clearly not the design that suffered. This touchscreen tablet is largely inspired by the classic S9s with its sleek look, its aluminum finishes, its flat edges, its rounded edges and above all its S-Pen included. Especially since its thinness is surprising, its thickness is only 6.5 mm for a diagonal of 10.9 inches and a weight of more than 500 g, which gives a pleasant grip.

While the Galaxy Tab S9 sports a superb AMOLED panel, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has to make do with an IPS-LCD panel, which is an acceptable sacrifice. Thanks to its definition of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and its brightness which climbs up to 600 cd/m², we forgive it quite quickly. The quality of the screen is such that browsing, gaming or watching streaming content is pleasant, especially since the refresh rate is 90 Hz, which is quite sufficient for basic use.

Perfect for family use

Here, no high-end Qualcomm processor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE must make do with an in-house SoC, an Exynos 1380. This chip is found in mid-range smartphones from the South Korean manufacturer such as the Galaxy A54 or the Galaxy A35. Associated with 8 GB of RAM, this SoC is effective in everyday uses, you can also play with it provided you don’t have a heavy hand on the graphics. In addition, the One UI interface makes its use fluid and pleasant.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE does not seem to make any concessions on autonomy since its 8,000 mAh battery can last up to 18 hours of video playback according to the video manufacturer. You can therefore use it for several sessions of a few hours before having to recharge it. Charging is precisely the problem with this tablet, a bit like other Samsung devices in general. To fully refuel with a 25W charger, you have to wait 81 minutes.
