The third beta of iOS 18.2 includes a change for displaying a video in the Photos app. This is displayed again in full screen mode.
With the deployment of iOS 18, users of the Photos application discovered a new display of videos. The latter is done in windowed mode. Borders therefore surround the reader, which at the same time reduces its size.
The result seems to have been clear, as users of the brand did not appreciate this modification. In fact, Apple has taken the feedback into account since the third beta of iOS 18.2 once again modifies the functionality. This time it’s for a good old throwback.
Simplicity is often good. The Cupertino company has therefore returned to a full-screen display of the default player. To access the interface controls, or hide them as appropriate, simply tap once on the screen. These are then displayed superimposed or disappear. Remember that the public version of iOS 18.2 will be deployed next month.
