As fans anxiously await news of the sixth installment, Playground continues to bring updates to its 2021-released open-world racing game.
The crazy drivers
As we soon celebrate three years since its release, Forza Horizon 5 continues to be regularly updated. For months now, Playground, in addition to working on a certain Fable, has been providing updates bringing new events, props for EventLab, free and paid vehicles, new circuits as well as various outfits to personalize your avatar. Recently, the Horizon Retrowave update added a deco “neon lights” at the festival as well as a radio station including around ten Synthwave music. Enough to roll around with your hair in the wind and loud music when the sun goes down to enjoy the show!
Today, the Modern Horizons update is available and offers a car pack “Universal Icons”, “with cars from some of the greatest moments in Cinema and Television History” we can read in the official press release. It is now possible to race behind the wheel of the K 2000 racing car, one of the jeeps from Jurassic Park, and the DeLoreans seen in the three parts of Back to the Future. It should be noted that these are not just skins but a real reproduction of the vehicles from the films, both externally and internally. “Incredible amounts of detail and effort have been put into each of these models to make them special, including in the interactive elements” says Playground on X. As for whether there will be dinosaurs so that we can think of ourselves as budding Robert Muldoons, the British studio invites us to be attentive.

In addition to working on Forza Horizon 5 updates and Forza Horizon 6 (even if it has not yet been officially announced), the British studio has been making waves in recent days by releasing a new trailer of Fable, the reboot of the famous Action-RPG originally imagined by Peter Molyneux.
