You don't know what to play at the moment, despite the rich calendar of video game releases? In these moments, all you have to do is turn to the PlayStation Plus plans, notably Extra and Premium, since they give you access to titles that may have escaped you in the past. In the bundle, you can play this Ubisoft title at no extra cost which, eleven years later, is still a platform game benchmark.

Ubisoft is at the forefront of platform games, this 2013 game rated 18/20 is still a reference

A few weeks ago, in September, a new production, branded PlayStation and Team Asobi, proved to us that platform games still have a bright future ahead of them. Moreover, about Astro Botwe were able to benefit from some indicators on the success of this title. According to recent information, the title has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide. In short, a very nice result given its counter-current aspect to current productions! However, before the cute mascot of the studio (and of PlayStation, a little) came to wreak havoc on the platform, there was another king.

Thirteen years ago now, around the start of the 2010s, Ubisoft was not entirely focused on Assassin’s Creed, Watch_Dogs, Rainbow Six and others. On the side of its branch, the French publisher's teams have brought back to life one of the studio's greatest figures: Rayman ! At the time, it had been 8 years since the armless, legless mascot had been plunged into a long stasis, patiently waiting to enjoy his comeback. And what a return! Returning to a more platform-oriented formula and side-scrolling gameplay, Rayman Origins made a hit.

If we take the time to mention the return of Rayman, through the title Originsit's because the next part, Rayman : Legendshas almost been able to reproduce the immense qualities of its predecessor (a score of 18/20against 19/20 for Rayman Origins). Released in 2013, the title has not aged a bit in terms of sensation and still remains one of the best platform games of its generation. If you've never had the chance to try it in the past decade, the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium offers might make you happy (if you subscribe to one of these plans, of course!).

Yes, in the additional catalog of the Extra and Premium PlayStation Plus packages, you can get your hands on Rayman Legends. For others, it may be the time to crack in since it is priced at €3.99, until November 23. Fluid, precise, rhythmic and frankly entertaining, Rayman Legends places us in the company of Rayman and Globox (and many others), determined to save the Ptizêtres (once again!) from a terrible nightmare that has invaded the Crossroads of Dreams. Concerning the adventure, it is divided into several worlds containing various levels (horizontal scrolling): new, invaded or adapted from the game Origins.
