Digital health journey: 100,000 patients included on the eTICSS platform!

A digital coordination and pathway structuring tool, eTICSS supports local health stakeholders, to support them in their innovative practices.
Patients benefit from coordinated support between the healthcare professionals concerned, thus avoiding disruption in monitoring their journey.
Originally launched thanks to funding from the Future Investments Program, eTICSS received funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) over the 2020-2022 period, and has again benefited from ERDF funding since 2023, until ‘in 2026.
Half of the inclusions are now carried out by health, medico-social or social organizations for specific health pathways, and more recently by the region’s professional territorial health communities (CPTS).

Sports and health course
Example: the Sport and Health course (PASS system) which welcomes more and more liberals and coordinated exercise structures in its support project, with more than 3,600 patients included in less than two years.
It is in this journey that the 100,000th patient was included.
With today more than 4,000 users, 100,000 patients benefiting from its services, and 11 specific pathways, eTICSS demonstrates its effectiveness and its impact on the quality of responses in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region.
Support for new digital health services is confirmed and opens the way to new perspectives.
The program also plans, in the medium term, to integrate artificial intelligence to enrich existing services, while ensuring a secure framework that respects the ethical principles of the AI Human Guarantee.

Testimony: Marie-Lise Thiollet, Coordinator of the Sport Health Network of Burgundy-Franche-Comté
Thanks to our own coordination space, developed jointly with the ARS and GRADeS teams, eTICSS has become an everyday tool. Everything has been thought out and developed to perfectly meet our needs. Currently, we have 3,631 patients in structures, 1,468 prescribers, 19 multidisciplinary health centers, 131 approved structures and 182 sports practitioners. The tool makes it possible to structure the journey, facilitate the coordination of all these actors and secure their exchanges. Since March 2023, we have also offered home care for people with greater loss of autonomy and risk of falling. With eTICSS, which lists people who can benefit from entering a complex course, the DACs (Coordination Support System) are able to support them and monitor their courses. The tool therefore creates a link between health actors in the region such as, for example, with the CPTS (territorial professional health communities). Whatever the reason for which a patient benefits from an ETICSS file, the different actors in the care coordinate and exchange in a structured and secure way: the use is transversal.
Finally, the tool continues to evolve to continue to improve patient care. We are currently studying with the eTICSS teams the possibility of creating a patient application which will be integrated into My Health Space. The patient will then be an actor in his journey: he will be able to create his file, answer self-questionnaires but above all consult his evaluations and thus measure his progress. Not only does this motivate patients to continue their efforts, but they will also be able to pass on this information to other health professionals who follow them. This will definitely make them want to join us as an eTICSS user! »

eTICSS, digital services at the heart of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté e-health strategy
Originally launched thanks to funding from the Future Investments Program, eTICSS has benefited from financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) since September 2020, renewed in 2023. eTICSS constitutes a major digital project of ARS Bourgogne Franche-Comté and GRADeS, responsible for the development of regional e-health.
Thus, the provision of e-health services to users in the BFC region continues.
Future services will integrate new health pathways, projects and innovations.
