Huawei’s plans for mid-November 2024 include the launch of 4 new flagship series smartphones, according to prominent leaker Digital Chat Station. These include the direct successors to the Mate 60, 60 Pro and 60 Pro Plus apparently.
The 60 RS would now be replaced by the Mate 70“UD” – or, perhaps, by the Mate 70 Ultimate Design. If so, the new high-end phone could have the same style as the Mate XT – but without the revolutionary and ultra-expensive tri-folding design , obviously.
Each member of the Mate 70 range is expected to feature an improved version of its predecessor’s camera bump, while their screens could have bezels“slightly narrower“, without being less curved.
They could also be Huawei’s first HarmonyOS NEXT smartphones, powered by the next-generation (even if somewhat compromised) Kirin 9000 series Kirin 9000 series. However, their updates could result in the announcement of a generational price increase before the end of 2024.
