In 2024, five high-grade gold zones were discovered.
The year 2024 continues to produce encouraging results for Ressources Cartier. The gold company reports that it has found a new high-grade gold zone, located near the surface and just meters from the entrance to the Portal exploration ramp.
Cartier says the new zone intersected 7.2 grams per tonne of gold over 8.0 meters, including 12.5 g/t over 2.0 m and 26.2 g/t over 0.5 m.
The results are part of the ongoing 28,000 meter (174 drill holes) exploration drilling program, which continues to produce high grade gold results.
“Results from the Portal gold zone confirm historical high-grade gold results. In 2024, five high-grade gold zones were discovered over eight kilometers of the Larder Lake – Cadillac fault zone, on the East Cadillac property,” commented President and CEO, Philippe Cloutier.
The East Cadillac site is located 45 km east of the Val-d’Or mining camp.
