Katy Perry celebrates her 40th birthday in Geneva with a grandiose party

Katy Perry celebrated her passage into her forties with great fanfare in Geneva, offering her friends and loved ones an unforgettable party, between luxury and extravagance. We learn in the “Tribune de Genève” that to mark the event, she invited her guests to a sumptuous meal on October 24 at the Grand Théâtre, where candlesticks and embroidered tablecloths added a royal touch to the atmosphere.

Among the dishes on the menu, a fillet of beef and a truffled Mont-d’Or melted the guests’ taste buds, while a piano recital captivated the gathering. And of course, his companion Orlando Bloom and stars like Jeff Bezos and Cameron Diaz were there.

“The Mirror” reveals that in a nod to rumors about her weight loss, Katy Perry slipped an empty mini-syringe stamped “OzempiKP” into the gift bags, a humorous nod to the speculation. The festivities also took place at CERN, where the famous “KP40” logo lit up the Globe of Science and Innovation. The guests were of course entitled to a guided tour.

We learn in the French-speaking newspaper that the popstar also stopped during her stay in Geneva at the Edelweiss restaurant for a typically Swiss dinner. They would have enjoyed rösti and fondue in a folkloric atmosphere with yodel in the background. Sia was also present. On social networks, some guests posted photos of a visit to the Patek Philippe museum and the Ritz-Carlton Hôtel de la Paix. Did Katy Perry sleep at this establishment? No media has yet confirmed the information.

And to end this enchanted parenthesis, the group boarded the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, heading to Amsterdam for the rest of the festivities. This luxury train, in itself a collector’s item on rails, transported Katy Perry and her friends to a setting of the Roaring Twenties, for a final nod to her 40th birthday which will remain engraved in the memories… and on the social networks!
