Chassis, connections, screen of the Acer Aspire 5 A515-57-771G

Cooled by TinwAir technology via 2 fans, 2 heat pipes and ventilation grilles, this versatile laptop with a thin and light dark silver aluminum design has an elegant and discreet appearance. it adopts a sober and elegant look.

This Ultrabook has good connectivity including 1 USB-C Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 6 ax and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless modules for remote connections and communications, a practical HDMI video output to easily connect it to a monitor or a TV for example, Ethernet and audio ports or even 3 USB 3.0 (USB 2.0 compatible) guaranteeing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if USB 3.0 devices are plugged into them.

As a biometric reader is integrated, you can authenticate by fingerprint recognition using Windows Hello technology.

You can backlight the chiclet keyboard when you want to better distinguish its keys.

Thanks to its IPS technology, the screen benefits from significant viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical.
The Full HD screen has a 16:9 format and is therefore suitable for videos, while its anti-reflective treatment makes it more readable than a shiny panel in a bright environment (e.g. outdoors).

Performance, autonomy of the Acer Aspire 5 A515-57-771G

The Acer Aspire 5 A515-57-771G is a relatively thin and light 15-inch processor-efficient laptop designed for everyday versatile use on the go.

As it is thin and light, this Ultrabook is easier to transport. Some people wishing to have a student laptop PC may be interested, especially since its autonomy is around 7 hours on battery in light use.

However, it delivers solid general performance with which a maximum number of users will be satisfied.
Because it is driven by an Intel Alder Lake Core i7-12650H processor with 10 hybrid cores, associated with 16 GB of RAM.

These components demonstrate their potential in work requiring CPU and RAM resources that takes advantage of multi-core, such as video editing or photo editing, which creative people will appreciate.
We clearly feel the difference in work requiring CPU and RAM resources taking advantage of multi-cores, such as photo editing or video editing.

As a bonus, processing is accelerated by SSD storage compared to a hard drive. Thanks to the SSD you can also start/stop and launch software more quickly and you can access online game cards more quickly.

Please note, however, that no dedicated graphics card is included here. It is the Iris Xe graphics solution housed in the Core i7 which is responsible for all the graphics.
Thanks to the Iris Xe you can watch photos and HD videos but also play modest games.

Coming back to the SSD, remember that it is more robust than a hard drive but also more energy efficient, quiet and much faster.
The SSD therefore provides much better fluidity and responsiveness on a daily basis than a hard drive.

Acer has the good idea here to integrate an SSD with a large capacity of 1000 GB, i.e. twice more than what many models on the market offer.
You can therefore install and store multiple software and files, including personal creations, on this laptop.
