In this -30% pack, the Nothing Phone (2) becomes a great deal at Boulanger

The Nothing Phone (2) is a smartphone with a unique, transparent design. It is also a clear move upmarket compared to the first. And this gain in quality is now accompanied by a nice drop in price: it is sold in a pack at 479 euros instead of the basic 680 euros.

Le Nothing Phone (2)

With a more refined design, but still original with its Glyph on the back, but also a more powerful chip, and a pleasant to use interface, the Nothing Phone (2) is a good device to recommend. It’s hard to fault it for many things, except perhaps its price. This is why today, it becomes more interesting in a -30% pack at Boulanger.

The Nothing Phone (2) is popular for…

  • Its unique design, the Glyph
  • Its very satisfactory performance with controlled heating
  • Its very pleasant interface to use

Currently, Boulanger is offering the Nothing Phone (2) in a pack with a shell and tempered glass on sale at 479.99 euros instead of the usual 680.99 euros.

Originality and comfort

During our test, the Nothing Phone (2) obtained a score of 9/10 on the design part. Almost faultless for this smartphone, not quite like the others due to its Glyph and its unique, transparent design. The finishes are more elaborate than on the first model with a curved glass at the back. Too bad it’s not waterproof.

It’s a very pleasant smartphone to handle, and so is its screen. Its 6.7-inch Oled panel, in Full HD with natural colors, but slightly low brightness, remains sufficient to enjoy your content. We are also entitled to 120 Hz, which provides smooth and pleasant navigation in the interface. Since it is an LTPO panel, the rate can go down to 10 Hz.

A second, faster version

Nothing’s device moves upmarket by equipping itself with a decidedly high-end, fast and relatively low-heat chip: the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Although it is not the most powerful on the market, it allows you to quickly carry out heavy tasks, and is extremely comfortable in play without flinching. As for Nothing OS 2, the whole thing is very pleasant to use with a whole bunch of widgets available and customization options.

It is on the photo side that the Phone (2) shows some weaknesses, notably with somewhat haphazard HDR management and the absence of a telephoto lens. It still offers good color management, satisfactory sharpness, a nice portrait mode and a good night mode. Finally, in terms of autonomy, if it lasts all day, it will be difficult to shift to a second one. And thanks to its 45W charger, in 30 minutes, the phone goes from 10% to 71%.
