3 games not to be missed in May

The pace is starting to pick up in the video game industry. If at the start of the year we had very few precise release dates for 2024, everything is starting to become more refined. There are already only 7 months left for the studios to reveal information about their next babies, otherwise it will be next year. A lot of news should hit us between now and June, but in the meantime we won’t be twiddling our thumbs – well only if they’re on a joystick.

In May, some nuggets patiently await us. If you’ve lost track of upcoming releases, here’s a quick summary 3 games you shouldn’t miss this month at the risk of losing your life (this is false, but you risk getting very bored). If you don’t like this selection, keep in mind that a good old Super Smash Bros. or the remastered trilogy of tomb Raider It’s also good for keeping busy.

Little Kitty, Big City

The feline simulator is coming in just a few days! On May 9, you can take part in incredible adventures, playing as a kitten who arrives in a big city. This one can explore, annoy, but also hunt. The goal is to do whatever you like in this simulation game that is as cute as it is customizable. Nintendo recently revealed some mouth-watering gameplay.

At first glance, it doesn’t look like much, but the endless possibilities of activities promise us intense, fun and relaxing gaming sessions. The challenge does not seem to be required with this opus which mainly focuses on fun. It can be found on Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PC.

The Rogue Prince of Persia

This is the nice surprise of last month. Ubisoft announced the arrival of a game Prince of Persia in a rogue-like style. It is developed by Evil Empire, the studio behind the very famous Dead Cells. The first images show a game that is both nervous and colorful and will not do its players any favors. The title arrives in early access from May 14 on PC, so we can’t wait to see what it has in store. The bar has been pretty high since the release of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown which we greatly appreciated, but which is part of a completely different genre despite its 2D and its platforms.

Paper Mario: The Millennium Door

We’re not usually that fond of remasters and remakes, but this one is surely worth a look. Paper Mario: The Millennium Door has been given a second lease of life since its release on GameCube in 2004. It is clear that there is enthusiasm among fans, but also among new players. Paper Mario is a franchise that draws all its charm from its 2D graphics and its narrative universe that is richer than any other game Mario. It can obviously be found on Nintendo Switch from May 23.
