Oppo is expected to launch the Find X8 in China later this month. It should be one of the first phones to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400. As the successor to the Find X7 which was known for its photographic capabilities, it is also expected to feature improved imaging hardware.
Coming to the cameras, a recent leak of real photos shows that the Oppo Find X8 features a redesigned back. As we indicated in our previous article, the back of the Find X8 looks a lot like that of the OnePlus Open with a circular camera island and three sensors.
This real image leak showed the upcoming flagship camera phone in a black color. Today, another leaked real image shows the Oppo Find X8 in what appears to be a silver colorway. This photo also shows the same redesigned back as the previous leak.
No new details were shared in this leak, but previous reports suggest that the Oppo Find X8 will feature a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide, and a telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The flagship phone is also said to feature a 6.7-inch LTPO display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and FHD+ resolution.
Besides, Oppo recently confirmed that the Find X8 series will support 50W magnetic wireless charging. This would also make smartphones in the range compatible with MagSafe accessories (Anker 622 MagGo power bank, currently $44.99 on Amazon).
