Chassis, connectivity, screen of the Acer Swift Go SFG16-72-00C

This 180° fully flat aluminum laptop with a discreet design thanks to its thin and light dark silver color is cooled by the TwinAir system via 2 fans, 2 copper heat pipes and air grilles.

In terms of connectivity, this multimedia-oriented laptop is well equipped with its 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 (compared to 1 maximum usually), its practical HDMI video output for easy connection to a for example, its Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6 ax wireless modules for communicating and connecting remotely, its audio port or its 2 USB 3.0 (compatible with USB 2.0) providing transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 if you connect USB 3.0 peripherals to it.

Through the Windows Hello feature and the integrated biometric reader, you can authenticate yourself biometrically by fingerprint recognition.

When you need to better distinguish the keys, you can activate the backlighting of the chiclet keyboard.

The screen will delight fans of High Definition content since it adopts a 3.2K definition much higher than Full HD, here coupled with a 16/10 format more comfortable in height than the classic 16/9 which displays more information.
The screen also reproduces colors much more faithfully than average while ensuring great depth of blacks as well as large vertical and horizontal viewing angles. But also low latency which, combined with the 120Hz frequency, significantly improves overall fluidity compared to the standard 60Hz.
Because the screen adopts DCI-P3 OLED specifications, which also involve a glossy coating that gives punch to the colors but is subject to reflections in bright environments (e.g. outdoors).

Performance, battery life of the Acer Swift Go SFG16-72-00C

The Acer Swift Go SFG16-72-00C is aimed at those looking for a thin and light High Definition & Fidelity portable PC with high processor performance and multimedia oriented.

Some people looking for a 16-inch High Definition High Fidelity student laptop may be interested because it is thin and light in addition to providing around 9 hours of battery life with light use.

In addition to a high-capacity battery, to ensure such autonomy, this laptop relies on energy-efficient components.
This is the case with its energy-efficient SSD storage, which is also quiet, shock-resistant and fast.

In addition, the SSD here offers a significant capacity of 1000 GB to accommodate quantities of software and files including personal creations.

In daily use, the SSD provides great responsiveness and fluidity, which notably involves rapid start-ups/stops, processing and application launches.

The SSD therefore accompanies the heart of this laptop very well.
Because it consists of a large amount of RAM of 32 GB – twice the average – but also a Core Ultra 9 185H Intel Meteor Lake processor with 16 hybrid cores, AI performance and integrated Intel Arc graphics solution.

This gives solid overall performance that a maximum of users will be satisfied with. And especially creators. Because the potential of this Ultrabook is revealed in areas that are greedy for RAM and CPU resources that take advantage of multi-cores and AI, such as photo editing or video editing.
Under this type of work, processing is carried out much faster than with 16 GB DDR4/5 and a classic Quad/Hexa Core processor.

However, there is no graphical acceleration of processing on this laptop since it does not have a dedicated graphics card.
However, thanks to Intel Arc, which offers superior performance to the classic Iris Xe, you can view HD photos and videos.

Playing is also possible if you are happy with light to modest games. And if you are willing to make concessions such as reducing the screen definition. Because in 3.2K a greater number of calculations are necessary than in Full HD which results in a lower number of fps.

Finally, expect some heat and noise from this Ultrabook when it is pushed hard (e.g. processing).
To contain its temperatures, it can be associated if necessary with a ventilated support (remember to check the dimensions carefully!).
