The IFA 2024 home appliance show closed its doors with a host of innovations. Tech&Co has explored the aisles of the Berlin trade fair to find five new products that will delight anyone looking to save space.
While the trend is towards ever-larger volumes for just about everything, the IFA show in Berlin (Germany) also showed that manufacturers are also concerned about more restricted urban spaces.
And many clever solutions to save space without compromising on functions or possibilities have emerged.
Ninja Double Stack 2-Drawer Air Fryer
You knew the successful Ninja Air Fryer with its double tray and large capacity. Here comes its version designed more for smaller spaces than large American kitchens. While it retains its idea of a double separate cooking space and its large capacity (7.6 L), the Double Stack chooses to stack them. A significant saving of space on the worktop.

Washing machine Haier Mini Drum (HW50-BP12307)
Haier is betting on a washing machine for tight spaces. The Mini Drum stands out for its compactness: 70 cm high, 51 cm wide and, above all, only 49 cm deep. It can wash up to 5 kg of laundry and is Class A to promise energy savings in addition to saving space. It features Smart AI technology that automatically detects the quantity and type of laundry put in the drum to adjust the dose of detergent and detergent to use (2,500 possible combinations) and therefore ensure optimization of water and electricity consumption. Roborock Zeo Mini M1 Washer Dryer
If you are looking for an even smaller washing machine, the Roborock Zeo Mini M1 can be your savior. This device looks like an astronaut’s helmet. Behind its porthole is actually a mini-machine capable of washing 1 kg of laundry. This will be useful for delicate clothes, underwear or baby clothes (1000 rpm max). And one of the strengths of this Zeo Mini is also being able to dry laundry. So of course, you will have to take strength to achieve its goals. The device can only handle 500 g of laundry at a time when drying. Another good point: the Zeo Mini knows how to dose the right amount of detergent needed and is connected to be able to load additional programs.

The Chinese brand continues to focus on cleaning for small spaces. After unveiling the K10+ last year, a mini vacuum cleaner, Switchbot repeats the same small format concept with a combo model integrating a stick vacuum cleaner on the same support. The K10+ Pro Combo is composed of an advanced mini robot vacuum cleaner-mop, a powerful cordless stick vacuum cleaner, both emptying into a station used to collect dust (up to 70 days stored) and to store the two devices. All in a minimized space to be discreet. Switchbot prides itself on having the smallest robot vacuum cleaner, capable of going anywhere. Blender Ninja Blast Max Power Pro
No space, no problem and multiple uses for this iconic blender from the brand. The Blast Max is a transportable model. It can be used at home or on a walk, at the gym, on a picnic. The Blast Max relies on three programs to create smoothies, but also simply mix or crush fruits or vegetables for wellness cocktails.
Xgimi MoGo 3 Pro Projector
This video projector hopes to replace the presence of a television. It comes in a compact format, “the height of a Venti cup at Starbucks”, and light for its lenses (1.1 kg).
